Amy Yraola Conry Davis works as a travel writer, content creator, and photographer. She grew up "everywhere and nowhere" and has been a world traveler since she moved with her family to Thailand at age two. Her adventures have taken her to over 20 countries and just recently, she spent two years living on the road in an Airstream.

She enjoys writing about the arts and outdoors, with a special focus on the South. Her work has been published in Lonely Planet, TripSavvy, and Matador as well as local and regional publications. She's an active member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and author of the guidebook "100 Things To Do In Wilmington, North Carolina Before You Die" by Reedy Press. Her current home base is Asheville, North Carolina where she lives with her husband and son and an equally adventurous dog.
